The face of mischief

When I see the "Calvin & Hobbes" smile, I sense trouble isn't too far away. He's getting good at pulling himself up. He can get to his knees about 90% of the time. Full-on standing about 10-20%. So, between the almost crawling and almost standing, I'll be spending the next few days putting lots of things on higher shelves, hiding every cord and cable in sight, and lowering his crib mattress.

He's getting really good at grabbing on and pulling. He can sit himself up if he has something to grab. He can also grab my hair, my glasses, my face, a fistful of dog hair, etc...

So, when I put him in his crib for the night, his head was level with the toy on the bottom right. Somehow in the morning, he had migrated to the other end.

So, when he went to bed his head was at 9 o'clock. When he woke up, he was like this.

He's getting too big for the bassinet, so last night he upgraded to the crib.

Dude loves his mobiles from Ikea. I love that store (in case you couldn't tell from the crib, mobile and giant stuffed animal).
